WHO WE ARE
Viña El Pabellón is a family estate in Millapoa, Nacimiento, shaped by the energy of the Biobío River and the distinct character of its valley. Our over-200-year-old País vines are living heritage—crafted into limited wines defined by origin, precision, and quiet depth. Above the vineyard, the cypress crowning El Pabellón Hill stands as our emblem of time and responsibility. These are the principles at the heart of what we do.

THE HEART OF WHAT WE DO
TRADITION, INNOVATION, AND STEWARDSHIP are the principles that guide Viña El Pabellón.
TRADITION lives in our vineyard’s oldest roots: our 200+ year-old País vines, a living piece of Chile’s winemaking heritage. We preserve them with long-term care and clear plans for expansion, reaffirming our commitment to the country’s most authentic grape and the culture that surrounds it.
INNOVATION is how we protect what matters and how we define our signature. In the 1990s, our family planted Cabernet Sauvignon on this land, embracing a bold step for the valley at the time. Today, we irrigate these vines with water drawn from the BioBío River, extracted using solar-powered systems a modern solution that allows us to work with precision while respecting the natural rhythm of the valley. Innovation also lives in our winemaking: we craft a distinctive País–Cabernet Sauvignon blend, uniting Chile’s most historic grape with one of the world’s great varieties to create wines that are both rooted and refined.
STEWARDSHIP is our promise to this place. Our family has lived and worked on this land for generations, learning its seasons, its winds, and its quiet strengths. We see ourselves not as owners, but as guardians-caring for the vineyard today while preparing it for those who will come after us. Every decision from water use to energy seeks balance: producing wines of character and identity while safeguarding the place that makes them possible.
